ComSigo: door-knocking for isolated seniors
A municipal partnership starts in the historic centre to find people over 65 who are not on any list.

The Municipal Assembly backed ComSigo, a partnership between the city and social organisations to find and support people aged 65 and over who do not live in municipal social housing. The first phase focuses on the historic-centre parish union, with door-to-door contact rather than waiting for people to walk into a counter.
If you worry about a neighbour who never opens the door, the useful step is still the services that already know the street: a junta, an IPSS, or the contacts the Câmara publishes for social cohesion. ComSigo is a method, not a hotline printed on this page.
