Privacy

Who is responsible

The controller is Teleporto, a community service operated from Porto, Portugal. For privacy, write to info@teleporto.biz.

What we keep

  • Name and email, when you ask a question, post an answer, or publish a home or a car.
  • The text, the photograph and the place you choose to publish.
  • Your IP address, kept with the post and used if a moderator blocks a spammer.
  • A report you send about an answer: which answer, and the address it came from.
  • The technical cookies the site needs in order to sign you in, remember a language, or accept a comment.

Why, and the legal basis

  • To publish what you asked us to publish, and to let someone reply to the email you gave (GDPR article 6(1)(b), steps toward a listing or a question).
  • To keep the community safe, remove illegal content, and block an address that keeps spamming (article 6(1)(f), legitimate interest, and Decreto-Lei n.º 7/2004).
  • To remember that you are signed in, or which language you chose (Lei n.º 41/2004, strictly necessary cookies).

Teleporto does not sell personal data and does not use it for advertising profiles.

What you publish is visible

A question, an answer, a home or a car is shown to anyone who opens the page. If you put your name or email on a listing, other people can see it and write to you. Do not post a document or a number that belongs to someone else.

How long

A question, an answer or a listing stays until you ask for it to be removed, or until a moderator takes it down under the community rules. A report is kept while the moderation decision needs it. The hosting provider keeps its own technical logs for security, for a limited time.

Who else sees it

The site is hosted so that it can be served on the internet. The host processes the data only to run that service. Visitors see what you published. A message sent through the contact form goes to info@teleporto.biz.

Your rights

You can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, or a copy of your data, and you can object to a use based on legitimate interest. You can withdraw consent where the use was based on consent. Write to info@teleporto.biz.

You can also complain to the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD), at www.cnpd.pt.

Children

Teleporto is not meant for children. Under article 16 of Lei n.º 58/2019, consent for an information-society service is only valid in Portugal from the age of 13. Do not open an account or post for a younger child.
