Fibre in the building

Home internet in Porto is fibre from NOS, MEO, Vodafone, Digi or NOWO, and the offer that exists on your street may not exist in your stairwell. Coverage is per building. Ask the landlord which operator’s box is already in the flat, and ask the operator to confirm the address before you sign. A tariff page that does not check the door is advertising.
Contracts often tie you for 24 months. Read the loyalty period and the cost of leaving. Installation can mean a hole in a wall of a rented flat, so the landlord has to agree. Prices move every few months, which is why this page does not print one. A Portuguese mobile number and a NIF are what the shop will ask for.
If you are only here for a few months, a prepaid SIM with a data plan is often cheaper than a fibre loyalty contract. The SIM is the same guide.
