Parque da Cidade, the big green toward the sea
Parque da Cidade is the wide park between the western neighbourhoods and the Atlantic side of town. Locals run, picnic, and push prams here when the centre feels tight.
There is no ticket. Bring water, watch bike lanes, and leave before dark paths feel empty if you are alone. The seafront and Matosinhos restaurants sit a walk or short hop beyond the park.
