Are these numbers official?

No. They are estimates to help you plan. Confirm with Autoridade Tributária, a lawyer or your bank before you commit.

Which calculator should I open first?

If you are buying, start with purchase costs, then mortgage payment. If you are renting, start with moving in costs.

Do the tables cover Madeira and the Azores?

These tools use Continente style tables. Islands can differ. Treat island purchases as a separate check.

Can I use a listing price from Teleporto?

Yes. Open a for sale or rent ad, then come back to the matching calculator with that price or monthly rent.
